Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran guru dalam menanamkan nilai kejujuran pada anak usia dini di lembaga Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD). Nilai kejujuran merupakan salah satu fondasi utama dalam pembentukan karakter anak yang perlu ditanamkan sejak usia dini melalui pembiasaan, keteladanan, dan interaksi sosial yang bermakna. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru PAUD, kepala sekolah, dan peserta didik pada salah satu lembaga PAUD. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki peran sentral dalam menanamkan nilai kejujuran melalui tiga bentuk utama, yaitu sebagai teladan, fasilitator, dan pembimbing. Guru menanamkan nilai kejujuran melalui pembiasaan sehari-hari seperti mengembalikan barang pada tempatnya, berkata jujur, mengakui kesalahan, dan bermain sesuai aturan. Faktor pendukung implementasi nilai kejujuran meliputi konsistensi guru, dukungan orang tua, dan budaya sekolah yang positif. Sementara itu, faktor penghambat meliputi perbedaan pola asuh di rumah, keterbatasan kontrol perilaku anak, dan kurangnya sinergi antara sekolah dan keluarga. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penanaman nilai kejujuran pada anak usia dini memerlukan peran aktif guru yang konsisten serta kolaborasi yang kuat antara sekolah dan keluarga.
