Author Guidelines

To ensure a successful submission to our journals, all authors must adhere to the following guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned for technical revision before undergoing the peer-review process.

1. General Submission Requirements

  • Originality: The manuscript must be original, has not been previously published, and is not currently under consideration by another journal.

  • Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English (or Indonesian, depending on the specific journal's policy).

  • File Format: Submissions must be in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.

  • Structure: A standard research paper should generally include: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.

2. Manuscript Formatting

  • Title: Concise and informative, reflecting the core of the research.

  • Abstract: A single paragraph (150–250 words) summarizing the research objective, methodology, key findings, and conclusions.

  • Keywords: Provide 3–5 specific keywords for indexing purposes.

  • Length: The manuscript should typically be between 4,000 to 7,000 words, including references and tables.

  • Tables and Figures: All visuals must be numbered consecutively, have descriptive captions, and be cited within the text. Ensure high resolution for all images.

3. Citation and References

  • Style: We strictly follow the APA (American Psychological Association) 7th Edition citation style.

  • Consistency: Every citation mentioned in the text must appear in the reference list, and vice versa.

  • Recent Sources: Authors are encouraged to cite recent primary sources (journals) published within the last 5–10 years.

  • DOI: Please include the DOI (Digital Object Identifier) for all references where available.

4. Ethical Standards

  • Plagiarism: All submissions will be screened using plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin). The maximum similarity index allowed is 20%.

  • Peer Review: All journals under PT Wacana Publisher Utama utilize a Double-Blind Peer Review process. Ensure that the main manuscript file does not contain author names or affiliations to maintain anonymity.

  • Ethics Statement: Research involving human subjects must state that informed consent was obtained and ethical approval was granted by the relevant institutional board.

5. Submission Process

  • All submissions must be made through our Online Submission System (OJS).

  • During submission, authors are required to upload a Title Page (containing author details) and a Blinded Manuscript (without author details).
