Focus And Scope

Indonesian Journal of Da’wah Management Studies aims to provide a specialized academic forum for the study of management principles applied within the context of Islamic Da’wah. The journal seeks to bridge the gap between classical Islamic propagation values and modern administrative science to foster professional, accountable, and impactful Da’wah practices.

The journal invites original research articles, theoretical papers, and case studies that fall within, but are not limited to, the following areas:

  • Da’wah Institutional Management: Strategic planning, organizational behavior, and governance of Islamic institutions, mosques, and non-profit religious organizations.

  • Human Resource Management in Islamic Contexts: Recruitment, training, and professional development of Da’i (preachers) and staff within religious organizations based on Islamic and modern management standards.

  • Islamic Philanthropy & Financial Management: The professional management, distribution, and transparency of Zakat, Waqf, Infaq, and Sadaqah (ZISWAF) to enhance community welfare.

  • Digital Da’wah & Media Management: Management of information technology, social media strategies, and content production for Islamic propagation in the digital era.

  • Leadership and Public Policy: Leadership styles in Islamic organizations, public relations, and the management of Da’wah-related public policies in diverse societies.

  • Sociology and Community Development: Management of community empowerment programs, social movements, and the evaluation of the socio-economic impact of Da’wah activities.

Under the management of PT Wacana Publisher Utama, the journal prioritizes interdisciplinary research that offers practical solutions to contemporary challenges faced by Da’wah practitioners and institutions globally. Our objective is to advance the body of knowledge that promotes systematic and professional Islamic propagation for the benefit of modern society.
