Analysis of Students Learning Difficulties in Science IPA Subject

This study aims to analyze students’ learning difficulties in Science (IPA) subject. Science is considered one of the important subjects in secondary education; however, many students still experience difficulties in understanding abstract concepts, scientific processes, and problem-solving tasks. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a literature review design by analyzing various previous studies related to learning difficulties in Science subjects. The data were collected from relevant journal articles and academic publications. The findings show that students’ learning difficulties in Science are influenced by several factors, including cognitive difficulties in understanding abstract concepts, low motivation, ineffective teaching methods, and limited learning resources. In addition, external factors such as classroom environment and teacher explanation methods also contribute to students’ learning challenges. In conclusion, students’ learning difficulties in Science subject are caused by a combination of internal and external factors, and effective teaching strategies are needed to improve students’ understanding and learning outcomes.
